A special Five Minute Challenge began PWI Night of Champions as young Shane Phoenix hit the ring declaring that he could go five minutes with anyone from the locker room and wanted his chance to prove it. Granted that opportunity, Otto Schwanz and his entire Belgian Dwarf Circus answered the challenge and hit the ring. The official called for the bell and Schwanz began questioning the sanity of the universe, and the ring official, en route to finishing off the young grappler by pinfall with a comfortable 28 seconds remaining in the challenge time limit.

Singles action followed as Showtyme's Trevor Lee entered and awaited the debut of his opponent, who had appeared only flickeringly in videos proclaiming his arrival. Will o' the Whisp entered with the announcement that he was hand-chosen by former WWE World Champion Jeff Hardy to reprise the Mid Atlantic legend and continue with the mission of the original Whisp. Lee, somewhat irate after his opponent's quick start, decided to show the masked newcomer who was "really Omega" and went to the top ropes with just over 2 minutes gone in the bout. Will o' the Whisp rolled out of the ring as Lee descended and took a quick and decisive pinfall win after sliding back in and tying up the stunned Lee.

Mixed tag team action followed as Showtyme's Justin Duke & Kristin Flake entered to do battle against "Jersey" Nick Richards & Amber O'Neal w/Brad Stutts. The men started things off, tagged out and the ladies went to war. Flake used every trick in her playbook to keep O'Neal from using her face as a punching bag, including standing on her hair. Richards & Duke brawled on the floor as the ladies settled the score, with the O'Neal/Richards team taking the duke by pinfall.

Manager Ty Dillinger entered the ring with the house mic and went into a tirade on former partner Jesse "El Fuego" Ortega, who recently turned on the VIPs and quit wrestling. Questioning his wife's reputation and making ugly comments about their child, Dillinger went on to announce that he would now be known as "El Fuego" before leaving to a tirade of boos from the fans.

The PWI Ultra J Crown Championship was up for grabs next as champion Xsiris w/William L. Cross entered to defend against the winner of the 2009 Johnny Weaver Memorial Tournament, the masked Kamakazi Kid. The two very familiar foes went to war with when the bell rang, with Kazi taking a quick advantage over the champion to the disdain of his manager at ringside. Xsiris stayed in the fight and eventually turned the tides with a well-placed knee to Kazi's midsection, and opened up his own bag of tricks on the masked man's previously injured spine. Kazi was left in a crumpled heap in the center of the ring following the pinfall decision, but Xsiris couldn't seem to locate his title belt post-match. At the announce position, "Box Office Draw" Mikael Yamaha rose with the Ultra J title in hand and met the champion half-way. Tossing the title into the air, Yamaha attacked his former championship partner and they brawled on the entrance ramp before officials cleared the ring.

The Riders Championship Wrestling Heavyweight Title was on the line next with challenger "King of Heat" Gemini Kid w/Ty Dillinger & Becky Bayless entering to battle double champion Brass Munkey, who also holds the CWF Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Title. Using the formula which he'd used successfully several times in the past, Dillinger maintained a running verbal monologue aimed at the official while taking advantage of any opportunity which presented itself on behalf of his friend. The three-on-one strategy worked it's magic, along with the crafty veteran wiles of the former world tag champion Gemini Kid, as he limped away from the ring with the RCW title on one arm and Becky Bayless on the other.

Titles V. Titles Tag Team action was up next as Premier Wrestling Showcase Tag Champions the Aftermath's "the 1st" Ric Converse & Marcellus "Mid Atlantic" King w/William L. Cross entered to face off against the CWF Mid Atlantic Tag Champions Fatback Enterprises' "Dangerous E" Corey Edsel & Donnie Dollar$ w/Brad Stutts. After opening up with actual wrestling, the bout broke down into a combination of a group mugging, a MMA bout and a gang war for the most part. The ring official had his work cut out for him as both teams were out for blood in the rare titles for titles match. When the official called for the bell, members of both teams appeared to have their shoulders pinned by an opponent, with Edsel pinning King with a spinebuster as Converse pinned Dollar$ with a Sky High Powerbomb, with confusion reigning as to who the legal men in the match were. After grabbing both sets of title belts and conferring with the announce position, referee Joseph Blackwell returned to the ring and awarded both sets of titles to Fatback Enterprises after making the determination that Edsel & King were the legal pair in the match.

Destiny's "Infamous Icon" Joey Silvia was out next with manager Ty Dillinger & Becky Bayless to defend BOTH the PWS Heavyweight Title and the CWF Mid Atlantic TV Title against former WWE performer Brian Kendrick. The lightning-fast Kendrick came for a fight, displaying his incredible speed and flexibility early on as Silvia tried to put him through the proverbial wringer. When the first ten minutes of the bout had passed, the TV title was no longer on the line, but the battle in the ring kept heating up. Kendrick started pulling some tricks out of his repetoire, which were mostly met head on by Silvia. Both men began to show the effects of their toil, with neither giving quarter to the other. Silvia was able to get the pinfall with the help of Becky Bayless getting his opponent's attention, allowing him to drop him to the canvas with an Oklahoma roll and a pull of the tights. Lee Valiant appeared in the entrance and made his way to the ring area, only to be clobbered from behind by Brian Kendrick before he left the ring.
